MDLUG operates several Linux related e-mailing lists that are very active, including:

MDLUG

(Aka "the main list"), for discussion of Linux and technology in general.

MDLUG-Admin

Where details of cat herding... er running MDLUG are discussed.

MDLUG-Newbie

Where new users can ask Linux questions that they might hesitate to ask on the main list.

MDLUG-Retro

A place for discussing really old platforms and architectures.

MDLUG-Discuss

Where members discuss whatever else may be their minds.

Sig-Linux

To help interested members of SEMCO to form and operate a Linux SIG (Special Interest Group)

Posting to these lists is limited to subscribers. Each list has an online archive that is publicly available.

If you wish to join any of these lists you can click the link provided above use the form provided. Once subscribed you will have a password that allows you to log in and set various preferences. Use of a form linked above allows you to select your password at the outset.

Alternatively you can send an email to listname-subscribe@mdlug.org (or listname-join@mdlug.org if you prefer) from the email address you want subscribed. If you use an email method a random password will be generated for you. Once subscribed you can change your password if you wish.

Once you have requested a subscription, by any of the means above, a confirmation request email will be sent to the address provided. Your subscription will become active once you respond to the confirmation request.
