Carl told us about Ohio Fest.  The pre-party had many disccussions.

NIDISwrapper.com to find a way to set up wireless cards that don't have drivers. You may need to compile a Kernel.

Karl talked a bit about how Microsoft has extended software to compete. 

Open XML Microsoft may never make this work for them.  The members of standard bodies now have learned.

Karl said he paid for the web host.

Ken asked why his wireless card (belkin athros) was slow.  Under Windows it works fine. Mat suggested abandoning SUSE.

Bill: “I hate Vista”. Dell still sells XP machine. The Vista problem was caused by Mcafee software.
 
We have $135 in the kitty.

Karl talked about VMWare.

Mat was helping Brian install NDISWrapper on his TRENDNET wireless USB.

We have 12 people attending.

Gib talked about the wireless neighborhood project he is working on.

Ken says he knows of a small company that is looking for someone to help with a web clean up and search engine ranking. Needs a manhours estimate to evaluate the site and act on it.
